Daly City Concrete & Masonry was founded in 2015 by a crew of tradespeople who grew up working on the mid-century stucco homes that line the streets of Daly City and the surrounding Peninsula. They knew the local soil conditions - the clay-heavy hillsides, the coastal fog that never quite dries out, the aging foundations from the postwar Doelger-era developments - and they built a business around solving the problems those conditions create.
Nearly every home in Daly City was built between the 1940s and 1970s. After 60-plus years, those foundations, chimneys, and masonry surfaces need attention. We have spent over a decade working on these homes - the ones near Westlake District, the ones climbing up toward Serramonte, and the ones tucked behind the Cow Palace near the San Francisco border. We know the neighborhood and we know the homes.
What started as a small local crew has grown to serve 12 cities across San Mateo County and the Bay Area. The work has grown. The approach hasn't changed: show up on time, do the job right, and leave the property better than you found it.
We tell you what we actually found and what it will cost to fix it. If you only need tuckpointing, we won't try to sell you a full restoration.

We hold an active California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license, required for all masonry and concrete work in California. Every job we do is legal, on the books, and done by licensed tradespeople.
We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation on every job. If something unexpected happens on your property, you are not left holding the bill. Ask us for a certificate of insurance before work begins - we are happy to provide one.
Our contractor's bond is current and on file with the CSLB. This gives you an additional layer of financial protection and confirms we are in good standing with the state - not just a handyman with a truck.
